Pakistan Navy's Military Engineer Services (MES) invites prequalified firms and contractors to submit tenders for the provision of furniture under two projects: construction of a 256-man barrack (Phase-II) at PNS Dilawar and construction of a sport hall (gymnasium) at NPT&SC Karsaz in Karachi, Sindh. The tender process is governed by Clauses 13, 15 and 16 of PPRA Rules 2004. Firms and contractors currently enlisted with MES or other government departments having relevant experience in similar furniture provision work are encouraged to apply. Firms not enlisted with MES must submit detailed prequalification information including details of similar works completed during the last two years, sponsoring agency, work value in millions of rupees, completion periods, physical progress status, and performance reports from previous clients.
Eligible contractors must provide comprehensive documentation. MES-enlisted contractors shall submit lists of moveable and immoveable assets, details of skilled and unskilled personnel, machinery and equipment inventory, bank statements, GST registration certificates, and NTN certificates. Contractors not on the MES approved list or those suspended due to non-deposit of enhanced standing security must deposit earnest money equal to 5 percent of the estimated bid cost in the form of an FDR or CDR, duly pledged to GE (Navy) Central Construction Karachi. This security is refundable if the contractor does not secure the tender or contract. All applications must be complete; incomplete submissions will not be entertained.
Tenders must be received at the GE (Navy) Central Construction office, Iqbal Shaheed Road, Karachi-4 by 1130 hours on 05 September 2026 and will be opened on the same date at 1200 hours. The accepting officer reserves the right to reject any applications in accordance with paragraph 33 of PPRA Rules 2004. Firms are required to comply with all prequalification criteria and tender submission requirements as detailed in the notice.
