Trading Corporation of Pakistan invites bids for the procurement of 62,500 metric tons plus or minus 5 percent of long grain white rice (IRRI-6), 100 percent broken, double polished, on CIF free out basis to Dakar, Senegal and Banjul, The Gambia, in break bulk or containerized shipments. This is a significant commodity procurement conducted on a national basis using a single stage two envelope bidding process. The tender covers delivery to two African ports and represents a substantial import procurement of premium quality rice with specific grading and processing requirements for distribution or strategic reserves purposes.
Bidders must be legally registered entities capable of sourcing, arranging shipping, and managing international maritime logistics for large-volume grain consignments. The bid must be secured and submitted in accordance with the Standard Bidding Document requirements. Bidders are required to provide comprehensive documentation including proof of financial capacity, experience in similar supply contracts, and shipping arrangements capability. All submissions must comply with the two envelope system separating technical and financial proposals.
