This is a Rs 7 million tools and plant procurement by Military Engineer Services at Gwa Cantt.
Pre-qualification is mandatory; only firms with PEC registration (Categories A–E) and demonstrated relevant experience will receive tender documents. Non-MES-enlisted contractors face a 2.5% security deposit requirement. The closing date is tight (11 September 2026), allowing less than two weeks for applications. This appears to be a one-off procurement; prequalification emphasis suggests the buyer values contractor track record and technical capability over price alone.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold current PEC registration in Categories A, B, C, D or E. PEC certificate copy is mandatory. Litigation-free status and clearance from E-in-C's Branch GHQ (Inspection and Evaluation) are required. Typically, contractors must also hold valid SECP registration or NTN. Non-MES-enlisted firms must post 2.5% of contract value as security; MES-enlisted contractors may have different terms.
