Central Ordnance Depot seeks general stores comprising tools, PPE and workshop equipment across multiple trades.
The scope encompasses common items (hammers, wrenches, safety gear) through specialized equipment (welding helmets, digital multimeters, insulated pliers). Tender appears small to medium scale based on item diversity rather than disclosed quantities. Mandatory document collection requirement and 5% bid security suggest routine procurement. Registration with PEC, DGDP, or Army ordnance depots is mandatory—existing military suppliers have advantage. Tight timeline (closure in less than three weeks from publication) demands immediate preparation.
Who can bid: Bidders must be OEMs, authorized distributors or agents registered with FBR (ATL), Income Tax and Sales Tax departments, and registered with DGDP, DGP-A, any Pakistan Army ordnance depot or PEC. Typically, participation requires valid NTN, active sales tax registration and recent tax payment evidence. Military procurement eligibility typically requires prior vendor registration with Defence Purchase or Army procurement authorities.
