Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Building Department (Central Zone), through its Executive Engineer 8th Building Division, invites item-rate tenders for the construction of MNHC (Mental Health and Community Care) facility in Gulberg Zone on Mushtaq Ahmed Gurmani Road, Lahore. The estimated contract value is Rs 14,994,000 with a project completion period up to 30 June 2027 as per the gestation period. The work is referenced under Technical Sanction No. E.E.No.1427/C dated 22 August 2026. This is a single-lot construction project located in Lahore, Punjab, open to contractors and firms currently enlisted and renewed with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) for the ongoing financial year in the relevant construction category.
Eligibility is restricted to PEC-registered contractors in the appropriate category for the current financial year. Prospective bidders must submit earnest money of Rs 749,700 (5% of the estimated DNIT cost) in the form of 1-link or online bank transfer from any scheduled bank using PSID generated on the Punjab E-Procurement system. Conditional tenders and those without accompanying earnest money shall be rejected outright. The bid submission process is entirely electronic via the official Punjab E-Procurement portal.
