Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, Local Government and Rural Development department, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, invites sealed quotation tenders from local general order suppliers, dealers and firms for the supply and procurement of multiple categories of goods and services. The tender covers vehicle repair and spare parts supply, office stationery entertainment and gifts, and machinery purchase along with repair and maintenance of furniture and miscellaneous items. The quotation rates shall remain valid throughout the financial year 2026-27, ending June 30, 2027. Separate quotations must be submitted for each item category as specified in the notice of invitation for tender (NIT). Tenders must be submitted by September 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM and will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day in the presence of bidders and their authorized representatives.
Bidders must be financially stable and maintain premises including shop, store or workshop appropriate to the nature of their business operations. A refundable earnest money deposit of Rs. 500,000 must be submitted in the name of the Executive Engineer, Local Government and Rural Development, Skardu. All quotation entries must be computer-generated; handwritten or incomplete quotations will not be accepted. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason.
Bid documents should be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Executive Engineer at the address provided. This is a framework rate-contract tender for recurring supplies and services over a one-year period covering multiple commodity categories essential to government operations in Skardu.
