Description / Scope of Work
Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi (DUHS) invites electronic bids from manufacturers or their authorized agents and distributors for the procurement of Cardiology, Catheterization Laboratory, Gastroenterology and ancillary items on a rate contract basis. This procurement is conducted under the Single Stage–Two Envelope Procedure as per SPP Rule 46(2), 2010, and shall be administered through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). The contract shall be executed for an initial period of twelve months from the date of signing, with provision for extension up to six additional months subject to satisfactory supplier performance. The location of the procuring agency is at the Central Warehouse, Dow University of Health Sciences (Ojha Campus), SUPARCO Road, off Main University Road, Gulzar-e-Hijri, Scheme No. 33, Karachi, Sindh.
Bidders must be registered on the List of Active Taxpayers with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) for income tax and GST/SST as applicable. The tender fee is Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable), and bid security not less than two percent (2%) of the estimated allocated amount/budget must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt, Bank Draft, or Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan. Only electronic bids submitted through EPADS shall be accepted; manual bids will not be entertained. Bidders must register on the EPADS system at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk/#/supplier/registration.
Bidding documents can be viewed or downloaded from https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/#/ or https://duhs.edu.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted by 15 September 2026 at 11:00 Hours, with the original tender fee and bid security reaching the Procurement Directorate before the submission deadline. Bids shall be opened on the same day at 11:30 Hours at the Central Warehouse location. Performance security of two percent (2%) of the total contract value shall be furnished by the successful bidder.
