Description / Scope of Work
The Drugs Testing Laboratory Punjab, operating under the Health and Population Department of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for a framework contract for the procurement of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance services (PMCM) for laboratory equipment during the financial year 2026-27. This is a service-based procurement covering planned preventive maintenance activities and emergency corrective maintenance to ensure continuous operational readiness of critical testing equipment at the laboratory facility in Lahore. The framework contract will establish terms, rates and conditions for on-demand maintenance services with scope encompassing equipment diagnostics, repairs, spare parts replacement and technical support throughout the contract period.
Eligible bidders must be duly registered with relevant regulatory authorities, hold valid business registration, and possess demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance services preferably within laboratory or pharmaceutical testing environments. Bidders are required to submit bid security as specified in the bid data sheet, along with technical qualifications, manpower deployment plans and equipment inventory documentation. All bids must comply with minimum wage rates and applicable federal and provincial taxes. Bidders should confirm eligibility through affidavits and provide evidence of prior similar contracts.
Bidding documents are available through the procuring agency and must be submitted in the prescribed format by the deadline specified in the bid data sheet. Bids will be opened publicly by the procuring agency with technical and financial evaluation conducted according to stated criteria.
