Description / Scope of Work
LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of roads in villages Warina, Changs and Dhok Muslim in Tehsil Sarai Alamgir, District Gujrat, Punjab. The project is valued at 5.000 million rupees and will be executed in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended) through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bidders must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for Financial Year 2026-27 and must meet all eligibility requirements specified in the bidding documents.
Eligible contractors and firms must submit a bid security equal to five percent of the estimated cost (250,000 rupees) in the form of a Digital Bank Guarantee via the e-Procurement portal. The guarantee must be transmitted through SWIFT MT760 by the issuing bank to the designated advising bank. Bidders are required to furnish a Performance Security equal to ten percent of the contract price upon acceptance of the bid, to be released after successful completion of the contract. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System only; manual bids, bids submitted by email, courier, post or by hand will not be accepted.
Bidding documents containing detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, specifications, Bill of Quantities, and contract conditions may be downloaded free of cost from the Punjab e-Procurement System and the PPRA Punjab website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login and http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. Electronic bids must be submitted on or before 12 September 2026 at 02:30 PM and will be opened the same day at 03:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat. The bidder whose bid is lowest evaluated and responsive will be announced in accordance with PPRA Rules. Bids remain valid for sixty days from the date of opening unless otherwise specified in the bidding documents.
