Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of Punjab invites electronic bids for a framework contract worth 40.00 million Pakistani rupees for the design, development and deployment of Heritage Interpretation Systems utilizing advanced visualization infrastructure including Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Projection Mapping technologies. The contract scope encompasses implementation at selected heritage and archaeological sites across Punjab, with the initial deployment location being Derawar Fort in Bahawalpur. This is a one-year framework contract enabling the Directorate to leverage cutting-edge digital technologies for enhancing visitor experience and heritage interpretation at significant archaeological sites in the province.
Bidders must be firms, companies, sole proprietorships, service providers or joint ventures engaged in the design, preparation and implementation of AR/VR and Projection Mapping solutions. All bidders must hold valid registration with relevant authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax and Punjab Sales Tax departments. Bids must be accompanied by a Demand Draft, Bank Guarantee or Certified Deposit Receipt equivalent to five percent of the estimated contract cost, made payable to the Director General Archaeology. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure as per clause 38 of PPRA Rules 2014 (amended).
Complete electronic bids must be submitted online through www.Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk as per the schedule specified in the formal advertisement. Technical and financial bid submission dates and the technical bid opening date are mentioned in the official advertisement published on the PPRA website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. All bidders are required to quote rates for the identified lot. Scanned copies of CDR/Bank Guarantees must accompany online submissions, with original instruments to be delivered to the office of Director General Archaeology at 60-A, Garden Block, Garden Town, Lahore on or before bid opening time. Incomplete bids will be declared non-responsive and excluded from evaluation.
