Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites quotations for the supply and delivery of four office workstations to its Main Campus located on University Road, Karachi, Sindh. Each workstation comprises an MDF laminated table measuring 5 feet length by 2 feet width by 2 feet 6 inches height, paired with a matching credenza measuring 54 inches length by 18 inches depth by 24 inches height. The workstations shall be manufactured from high-quality 16mm MDF laminated board sourced from Al-Noor, NU Board, ZRK or equivalent suppliers, finished according to approved design specifications. The procurement reference is RFQ-004000 and quotations must be submitted by 31 August 2026 at 5:00 PM to the Purchase Department.
Prospective bidders must provide a sample for mandatory quality approval before placement of any purchase order. A mandatory site visit to IBA Main Campus, Extension 2049, is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Friday, 28 August 2026. Bidders should be registered with relevant tax authorities and capable of meeting stringent quality and delivery timelines. IBA reserves the right to impose liquidity damages at 2 percent per month on delayed deliveries and to reject quotations without assigning reason. Payment will be made through crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery, with stamp duty of 0.35 percent levied on the total purchase order value.
Quotation documents should be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, with extension 2154 available for enquiries at telephone 02138104700. Delivery shall be made to the Stores at IBA Main Campus. The material is subject to final inspection at delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel items if they fail to conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed. General sales tax and all applicable government taxes, levies and charges will be assessed as per statutory rates.
