Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration Karachi invites quotations for Tennis Court Net Restoration work at its Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The project involves complete restoration of the tennis court fencing system, including removal of existing mild steel fence infrastructure, supply and installation of new PVC-coated chain link safety netting (2 inch by 2 inch, 2.4/4mm gauge), surface preparation with paint removal and sanding, application of epoxy paint finish to MS frame structures, and welding repair works on damaged or rusted sections. The scope encompasses approximately 2,160 square feet of fence removal and replacement, 1,888.2 square feet of surface preparation and painting works, and one comprehensive job of welding repairs. This is a single-phase restoration contract for IBA's sporting facilities on the main university campus.
All prospective bidders must meet standard procurement eligibility criteria as specified by IBA, typically including valid business registration, tax compliance documentation, and professional credentials appropriate to civil/structural construction contracting. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for Friday, 28 August 2026 at 3:30 PM at the IBA Student Center, Main Campus, to inspect the tennis court facility and understand the scope of work. Quotations must be submitted itemised as per the detailed Bill of Quantities provided, with eight percent Sales and Service Tax applicable on the total quoted amount.
Quotations must be submitted by 31 August 2026 at 11:00 AM to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, contact telephone 03323760498 extension 2150. Bid documents are available from the Purchase Department at the same address and contact details. Material will be subject to final inspection upon delivery to the Stores at IBA Main Campus. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reason and may award items to different lowest responsive bidders or split the contract as deemed appropriate.
