FESCO is procuring 20 separate packages totalling approximately PKR 92 million for pole transportation, erection, and high-tension line stringing across central Punjab.
These are standard annual maintenance and infrastructure replacement works typical of distribution utilities. The tenders span multiple divisions with modest individual values (PKR 2–7 million), suggesting scope for small-to-medium contractors. All packages close simultaneously on 15 September 2026 and share identical 12-month execution periods, indicating coordinated network upgrading. PEC C-6 registration requirement (EE-04/EE-05) filters to qualified electrical contractors; prior experience with WAPDA/PEPCO-approved materials and methods is essential.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold active Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in Category C-6 minimum with specialization codes EE-04 and EE-05, registered on E-PADS V2.0, and typically maintain valid insurance, safety compliance certificates, and NTN/SECP registration as per WAPDA vendor standards. Prior execution of similar HT/LT distribution works is expected.
