This is a future-dated tender (September 2026) for electric shuttle vehicles in the 11-14 seater category issued by the Navy Directorate of Procurement.
The notice demands strict compliance with PPRA Rules 2004 and DPP&I-35 (Revised 2024), along with DGDP registration as a precondition for contract award. Bidders must submit technical and commercial bids separately with extensive documentation including compliance matrices, manufacturer authorizations, and price lists. The requirement for security clearance before contract award and mandatory DGDP registration suggests this is a strategic defence procurement with significant compliance overhead. Small suppliers unfamiliar with defence purchase procedures and DGDP registration should allow substantial lead time.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with DGDP or willing to register to qualify for contract award. Firms must possess requisite technical and financial capability. Registration with relevant authorities (typically NTN, SECP for companies, or relevant trade body) is required. Security clearance is mandatory before contract award. Bank challan fee varies: Rs. 200 for DGDP-registered firms, Rs. 300 for all others.
