Description / Scope of Work
NESPAK invites sealed bids for geotechnical investigations and engineering design services for the upgradation of Main Line-1 (ML-1) of Pakistan Railway from Karachi to Rawalpindi/Islamabad. This procurement covers five sections (Sections 1 through 5) with work spread across Punjab province, involving comprehensive geotechnical site investigations, soil and rock testing, laboratory analysis, and detailed engineering design for railway infrastructure upgradation. The total project scope encompasses multiple sections with individual budgetary allocations for each package component.
Bidders must be registered with the relevant taxation authorities and be on the Active Taxpayers List. Companies must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and possess valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations. Bid security must be submitted separately for each section at the time of bid submission in the form of a pay order or bank draft in favour of M/s NESPAK. Technical bids will be opened on the same day as receipt in the presence of bidders' representatives, with financial bids opened after technical evaluation and announcement.
Bid documents including detailed scope of work and qualification criteria are available on NESPAK's official website (www.pura.org.pk) and via EPADs portal, or may be accessed through NESPAK offices. Complete bid submissions must be made through EPADs on or before the deadline. Technical bids will be evaluated and opened at 1130 hours on the specified date.
