The Regional Tax Office Faisalabad invites sealed bids for the supply of drinking water in 19-litre properly sealed bottles for the Financial Year 2026-27. The contract scope covers supply of approximately 30 to 45 bottles daily during the winter season and 60 to 80 bottles during the summer season, with daily delivery as per the office requirement. The water must be safe, hygienic, and fit for human consumption, sourced from a reputable company holding NOC from the Health Department and possessing a valid license under the Standard Mark (s xii) of the PSQCA Act VI of 1996. All water supplied must comply with PSQCA and WHO standards for quality and safety. The office reserves the right to obtain water samples tested from a government-approved laboratory at any time.
Bidders must possess a valid Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Registration or Certification for drinking water production and supply, with a copy of the valid certificate submitted along with the tender. Suppliers must also hold a valid International Halal Certification issued by a recognized accredited body and an Environmental Laboratory Certificate issued by the relevant authority. A bid security of 3 percent in the shape of a Bank Draft or Pay Order in favour of the Chairman Purchase Committee must be provided before the tender opening time. Failure to maintain any regulatory certification during the contract period shall be treated as a breach of contract and may lead to termination.
Bid documents should be submitted in accordance with Government Procurement Rules. Payment shall be made on a monthly basis against verified bills through the District Account Office, Faisalabad, with deductions of taxes at source as per government rules. Any substandard or contaminated water supply shall be replaced immediately at the supplier's cost. Late delivery or poor-quality supply may result in penalties or deductions as deemed appropriate, and repeated violations may lead to contract termination. The contract rates shall remain firm and fixed for the entire contract period with no escalation allowed.
