For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
POF seeks eight textile items for Infantry Field Dress System uniforms—a defensive procurement for operational use rather than commercial retail.
Scale appears medium given the specific uniform application and POF's institutional volume. Tight closure (September 2026) with same-day opening suggests urgency. The restriction to original manufacturers and authorized dealers indicates quality/traceability concerns; commodity suppliers without factory credentials will be excluded. This is likely a one-off or annual recurring contract tied to POF's uniform replenishment cycle.
Who can bid: Bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized dealers, or registered suppliers with valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registration in Pakistan. Typically, textile suppliers to defence institutions also require industry-specific certifications (e.g., APTMA membership or textile compliance). No PEC category applies (non-construction). Direct supplier relationship or principal authorization required.
