Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the procurement of signal equipment and general store items under tender reference 12/Normal/2026-27. The procurement includes hand-held digital communication sets (Kenwood), communication base units with 12V battery, communication repeaters, hand-held communication head sets, spare batteries, antenna systems, electric carts for de-armer and electric carts for rocket wrench. This procurement is planned within the current financial year either in full or in part, with quantities subject to amendment or decrease at the time of order placement. The scope encompasses both signal equipment and miscellaneous general store items required for operational support.
Eligible bidders include Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), authorized agents of OEMs, authorized distributors and suppliers that are registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and registered with Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), Directorate General Procurement-Army (DGP-A), or any Ordnance Depots of Pakistan Army and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Bidders must deposit bid security equal to 5 percent of the estimated bid value within five working days of intimation from COD Rawalpindi, failing which bids are liable to rejection. All bidders are bound by the Official Secrets Act to maintain confidentiality of bid details and purchase information.

Bids must be submitted in three separate sealed envelopes containing vendor profile/qualification documents, technical proposal, and financial proposal, all delivered to Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi before 1030 hours on 16 September 2026. Bid opening will occur at 1100 hours on the same date in the Conference Room with bidder representatives in attendance. Participating firms must obtain relevant documents from the Local Purchase Branch before tender collection.
