Description / Scope of Work
Karachi Port Trust, the gateway authority to Pakistan, invites sealed bids through E-PADS Version 2.0 for leveling, dressing and fixing of paver blocks to facilitate installation of a solar energy system at the J-Bond area of KPT Head Office in Karachi, Sindh. The scope of work comprises clearing of jungle, removal of existing material and debris, provision and laying of SRC City Pavers, provision and laying of stone ballast, and UPVC pipe works. Bidders must be registered with Government, Semi-Government Department/Organizations or reputable clients. The tender reference is PID(K)717/26 with an estimated project value reflected in the bid security requirements.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-6 and above with specialized code CE-10, valid on the tender opening date. Bidders must be registered on the E-PADS portal (https://vendors.epads.gov.pk) and hold valid NTN and SRB certificates. A bid security of Rs. 500,000 (refundable) and tender fee of Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable) in the form of pay orders favoring the Chief Accounts Officer KPT are mandatory. Financial eligibility requires minimum average turnover of Rs. 25 Million over the last three years for companies and firms, or equivalent tax returns for individuals. Only FBR and SRB registered bidders are eligible.
Bidding documents must be downloaded from E-PADS and submitted online by 21 September 2026 at 10:30 hours. Tender opening will occur on the same date at 11:00 hours in the Committee Room of the Civil Works/Engineering Department, 2nd Floor, KPT Head Office Building, Karachi.
