Description / Scope of Work
Karachi Port Trust, through its M&EE-II Department, invites competitive bids for the supply, installation and commissioning of three fire fighting pumps with flow capacity of 1250 GPM and head of 10 bar, along with two jockey pumps for the fire fighting system at Juna Bunder West Wharf. The tender is valued at Rs 2,380,000 and the work is to be executed at the port facility in Karachi, Sindh. This procurement is open to all interested firms possessing relevant experience in the installation and commissioning of fire fighting equipment and systems.
Eligible bidders must download complete bid documents from the E-PAD System version 2.0 via https://epads.gov.pk. Bidding will follow the Single Stage—Two Envelope Procedure as per PPRA Rules 2004 (Amended), Clause 36(b). All bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS platform; bids not received through EPADS V2.0 will not be accepted. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 16-09-2026 at 1100 hours at the office of the Director General (Engineering) at KPT Head Office, Eduljee Dinshaw Road, Karachi. Bid security of Rs 2,380,000 (in the form of a pay order in favour of the Chief Accounts Officer, KPT) must be submitted in original at the time of bid opening; a scanned copy should also be uploaded through E-PADS.
Bid documents in soft copy must be uploaded through E-PADS version 2.0 by 29-09-2026 at 1100 hours. Bids will be opened on 29-09-2026 at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders' authorized representatives in Room No. 32 of CM&EE-II Department at Ground Floor of KPT Head Office.
