Description / Scope of Work
AJK Power Development Organization invites sealed bids on a single stage single envelope basis for comprehensive works on the power house units 01 and 02 of the 3.2MW Rehra Power Station located in District Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The scope encompasses dismantling and modification of mechanical parts and governing systems for a 1600KW Pelton turbine, followed by repair and maintenance activities, transportation to site, installation, testing and full commissioning of the power generation facility. This is a specialized hydroelectric power infrastructure project requiring significant technical expertise and experience in turbine systems.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in category C-6 or above and demonstrate relevant prior experience with similar power station works. Bidders are required to submit a non-refundable application fee of PKR 10,000 in the form of a bank draft made payable to the Managing Director AJK PDO when requesting the complete bidding documents. Bid security of PKR 200,000 must be provided in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or bank guarantee made in favor of the Dy. Director (O&M), AJK PDO and enclosed with the sealed bid submission.
Bidding documents are available for purchase upon written application and fee payment to the undersigned. Sealed bids must be submitted by 30 September 2026 at 14:00 hours at the office of Dy. Director (O&M), AJK Power Development Organization, Upper Chatter, Muzaffarabad, AJK, where they will be opened on the same day at 14:30 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. All applicable taxes and duties levied in Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be deducted from the successful bidder's contract amount.
