For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Bank of Punjab seeks qualified solar contractors for multi-site on-grid system supply and installation across Punjab branches.
The tender requires submission through Punjab e-Procurement with 2% bid security per lot and tight 3-4 week installation timeline post-PO. Scale appears medium-to-large given multiple installation sites, but specific total capacity and number of sites are not disclosed in the notice. Bidders must provide new equipment with full warranty support; refurbished units will result in forfeiture without payment. This appears a one-time procurement rather than a framework contract.
Who can bid: Typically solar contractors must hold relevant PEC registration (if applicable for installation work), valid NTN registration with FBR, and demonstrated experience in on-grid solar installations. The notice does not explicitly state category restrictions but requires bidders to supply new equipment and comply with all PPRA procurement rules. Registration with relevant industry bodies and compliance with Pakistani electrical standards are implied requirements.
