Description / Scope of Work
The Manager Mechanical Transport, NSSD, Karachi, invites sealed quotations from GST registered firms for the supply and repair of spare parts for seven Pakistan Navy vehicles. The scope includes complete body dent and paint work, fuel and water tank repairs, dashboard repairs or replacement, brake and leaf spring work, steering system repairs, PTO work, engine overhauling, radiator replacement, wiring work, and removal of ballistic protection plating on specified vehicles. The vehicles requiring attention are a 2007 Nissan Fuel Bowzer (VEH. NO 9450), a 2017 Isuzu Water Bowzer (VEH. NO 9799), a 2008 Hino Mini Bus (VEH. NO 4305), a 2009 Isuzu Fuel Bowzer (VEH. NO 9483), a 2003 Nissan 5-Ton Truck (VEH. NO 5463), another 2008 Hino Mini Bus (VEH. NO 4305), and a 2001 Hino Mini Bus (VEH. NO 4234). This procurement is based in Karachi, Sindh province.
Eligibility is restricted to firms registered with the Ministry of Defence Production or Pakistan Navy and holding current GST registration. Sealed quotations must be accompanied by a cross cheque or pay order of Rs. 500 drawn in favour of the Yard Service Improvement Fund, which covers tender document issuance costs in compliance with Rules 16(2) and 23(5) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Submitted offers must remain valid for a minimum of ninety days from the date of bid opening. Evaluation will be based on quality and authenticity of spare parts, competitive pricing, and minimum delivery or lead time.
Quotations must be submitted to the Manager Mechanical Transport, MTRO, NSSD West Wharf Road, Karachi, no later than 25 September 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of interested bidders.
