For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

NGC is procuring specialized dismantling services for a high-capacity 160 MVA auto transformer at Peshawar Grid Station.
This is a one-off, technical heavy-lift operation requiring expertise in high-voltage equipment handling and safe decommissioning protocols. The nine-month lead time (closing Oct 2026) suggests NGC expects competitive bidding from established contractors. Scale appears medium-to-large given transformer specifications and grid infrastructure context. Critical success factors: HSE compliance for live grid adjacency, proper waste/oil disposal procedures, and coordination with NGC's asset management protocols.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 platform. Specific PEC category, NTN, or SECP registration not explicitly stated; typically NGC contracts require electrical/mechanical contractors to hold relevant PEC grades (A1–C1 depending on contract value) and valid NTN/FBR registration. NGC registration/vendor prequalification may be prerequisite—confirm via tender documents.
