For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

IESCO is contracting 1.8 km of 132 kV transmission line relocation work within Islamabad at a contract value of approximately Rs.

38.5 million. This is a technical, high-voltage infrastructure project requiring specialist capabilities in line shifting, tower work, and electrical safety. The scope spans two circuits (Sangjani-II to NIIA and Tarnol to F-11) in an urban development area. Bidders will face competitive evaluation; prior experience on similar voltage-class line work and certified personnel are likely determinants of award.

Who can bid: Typically, bidders must be registered with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) in relevant construction category, hold valid NTN and SECP registration, and possess experience on comparable transmission line projects. The notice does not explicitly state all eligibility bars; standard practice for 132 kV work requires Grade II or higher PEC classification and clean blacklisting history with IESCO.
