Description / Scope of Work
The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi is inviting national competitive bids for the hiring of janitorial services at its Bakhtiyari Youth Center facility in North Nazimabad. This is a single-stage, one-envelope procurement process with an estimated contract value of Rs. 5.90 million (five million ninety lac rupees only). The scope encompasses cleaning and maintenance services to be executed within the Bakhtiyari Youth Center, Karachi, Sindh Province, with services to commence within 15 days of work order issuance. Bidding documents are being issued from 18 September 2026 to 02 October 2026 (12:00 noon), with bids to be submitted online via ePADS and in hardcopy form to the Procurement Wing office located at the Board's Old Building, Room No. 31, 1st Floor. Bid opening will occur on 02 October 2026 at 03:00 P.M. in the presence of attending bidders' representatives.
Eligible contractors must demonstrate three years of verifiable experience in janitorial services, supported by client references, contract numbers and addresses. Bidders are required to evidence a minimum turnover of Rs. 18 million over the last three years through audited financial statements or bank statements, and must hold valid Federal Board of Revenue registration for GST/SRB and income tax purposes. Similar work orders valued at Rs. 10 million or above completed within the last three years must be documented. An affidavit on stamp paper confirming the firm has never been blacklisted is mandatory, submitted as specified hardcopy in bidding documents.
Bid security of 3 percent of the estimated cost must be submitted as a demand draft, pay order or bank guarantee in favor of the Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, valid for at least 28 days beyond the bid validity period of 90 days from tender opening. Original bids must be physically submitted at the Procurement Wing office, Board of Intermediate Education, Old Building, Room No. 31, 1st Floor, Karachi.
