For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
PSO requires a contractor with experience in fabricated steel structures and tensile fabric installations for three mid-scale parking sheds in Faisalabad.
The 45-day delivery and installation deadline is moderately tight; the mechanical work involves precision pipe fabrication and on-site assembly with specific gauge requirements and custom sizing. Civil groundwork (excavation and concrete) is relatively minor. The one-year warranty obligation and PSO's design approval process suggest this is a quality-sensitive project. Competitive bidders should have structural welding capability, tensile fabric sourcing arrangements, and proven site management experience.
Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state PEC category or SECP/NTN registration requirements. Typically, contractors for fabrication and civil works in Pakistan are required to hold valid PEC registration (category G-III or higher for structural steelwork), current NTN and sales tax registration, and may require ISO 9001 or equivalent quality certification. Compliance with PSO's vendor approval process is implied.
