Description / Scope of Work
MEPCO (Multan Electric Power Company) invites sealed bids for the procurement of Lynx Conductor under tender reference PMU-40/2026-27. This is a national-level goods procurement conducted through a single-stage, two-envelope bidding process. The procurement is for electrical conductor material required for MEPCO's distribution and transmission network operations in the Multan Division of Punjab Province. The scope, specification and quantity details of the Lynx Conductor are provided in the Items/Lot Specification section of the bidding document. Bidders must submit complete technical and commercial proposals as per the specification requirements outlined in the tender document.
Eligibility criteria require that bidders be registered with the relevant tax and company registration authorities in Pakistan, possess valid NTN (National Tax Number) and be in good financial standing. Bidders must provide audited financial statements, evidence of past performance in similar procurements, and proof of technical capacity to supply the goods. A bid securing declaration or bid security in the amount specified in the Bid Data Sheet must accompany all bids. Bidders are required to sign an Integrity Pact and comply with all mandatory requirements listed in the Special Conditions of Contract and bidding instructions.
Bid documents are available for download from the tender portal or may be obtained from the PMU office at Khanewal Road, Multan City, Multan District. Sealed bids comprising a Technical Envelope and a Financial Envelope must be submitted to the office of the Manager Procurement (PMU), Chief Engineer (Development), MEPCO, on or before the closing date specified. Bids will be opened in two stages: technical evaluation first, followed by financial bid opening for qualified bidders.
