Description / Scope of Work
The Gilgit Baltistan Rural Support Programme (GBRSP) invites sealed proposals from Scheduled Banks and Microfinance Banks, including KCBL, for the investment of Endowment Funds totalling Rs. 675 million through Term Deposit Receipts (TDRs) on a one-year basis with monthly profit distribution. The investment scope spans the entire Gilgit Baltistan region, with GBRSP managing the endowment as part of its rural development mandate. This is a significant financial placement opportunity for eligible banking institutions seeking to deploy capital in structured deposit instruments with fixed tenure and regular income streams.
Eligible bidders must be Scheduled or Microfinance Banks holding a minimum credit rating of "A" from a recognized Rating Agency. Banks must possess valid banking licenses and regulatory approvals from the State Bank of Pakistan. The tender process follows PPRA Rules, and GBRSP reserves discretion to accept or reject any or all quotations per Rule 33. Bidders should note that late submissions will be rejected without consideration, and proposals must meet all specified eligibility and documentation requirements before opening.
Interested banks should download complete terms and conditions from GBRSP's official website at www.gbrsp.org.pk and submit sealed proposals to the address of IQTIDAR HUSSAIN on or before October 05, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Proposal opening will occur on the same date at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders. Bid documents must include proof of credit rating, banking license, and financial statements demonstrating institutional capacity to manage the deposit securely.
