The National Bank of Pakistan, Qasba Gujrat Branch (0939) is conducting a public auction of gold jewelry pledged as collateral for expired gold loans. The auction encompasses jewelry from seventeen borrowers and their legal heirs located across Muzaffargarh district in Punjab who have failed to adjust their loans and release the pledged items despite repeated contact. The auction will be held on Friday, October 02, 2026 at 03:00 PM at the bank premises. The borrowers include individuals from Qasba Gujrat, Mehmood Kot, Shadikhan, and surrounding areas in Muzaffargarh district.
Prospective bidders must deposit Rs. 10,000 as earnest money to participate in the auction. The successful bidder is required to deposit 100% of their bid amount immediately at the auction venue, failing which the earnest money will be forfeited and rebidding will occur. Bidders are responsible for satisfying themselves about the weight and quality of all jewelry; the bank provides no warranty of any kind whatsoever regarding the description, authenticity, or condition of items, which are listed solely on the basis of information provided by the original pledgers.
Jewelry may be inspected at the bank premises during usual business hours upon prior appointment. The bank reserves absolute liberty to refuse any bid without providing reasons. All transactions are conducted according to the bank's standard gold auction policy.
