Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Limited, a major defence and industrial manufacturing entity in Punjab, invites sealed tenders for the procurement of upgraded and miscellaneous items required for the manufacturing of 22 units of Mohafiz-V vehicles on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. The tender is issued under reference CPB/26/Ind-08/IT-365/FOR/Moh-V/Up-Misc/Com/HIT dated 14 September 2026. Items to be procured are detailed in Annexure A of the bidding document, with delivery required within 60 days of contract signing. This is a single-stage two-envelope procurement process governed by PPRA and Ministry of Defence and Production rules.
Bidders must possess valid NTN (National Tax Number) certificates and meet specified eligibility criteria. Required documentation includes photocopy of HIT registration or pre-qualification letter, attested copies of sales tax and NTN certificates, CNIC of managing director, audited financial statements for the last three financial years, bank statements for the preceding year, proof of trade linkage with OEM for distributors or agents, and a certificate on judicial paper worth Rs. 100 attested by oath commissioner confirming the firm is neither a defaulter nor blacklisted by any government organisation. Bidders must also submit details of contracts and work experience with government and semi-government organisations over the last three financial years. A non-refundable payment of Rs. 3,000 is required for collection of the Standard Bidding Document from the Commercial Directorate.
The bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, technical specifications and financial proposal formats can be collected from the Commercial Directorate, HIT Taxila Cantt during working hours (contact 0304-9080867) or downloaded from the HIT website. Sealed bids must be submitted by 06 October 2026 at 1030 hours, with opening scheduled for 1100 hours the same day in the tender room of the Commercial Directorate in the presence of firm representatives.
