Description / Scope of Work
Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital, Sargodha, invites electronic bids for the repair of a Mobile X-Ray unit, make Schimadzu, model Mobile ART Evolution. The procurement is conducted under the financial year 2026-27 and falls under single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The service requirement includes comprehensive repair and restoration of the mobile X-ray equipment to ensure optimal operational capacity for the hospital's diagnostic imaging services in Sargodha.
Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost in the form of CDR, demand draft, pay order, or bank guarantee issued by Bank of Punjab, with 100 percent encashment warranty and minimum validity of 180 days. The bid security copy must accompany the technical bid submission, while the original document with bank confirmation must reach the Medical Superintendent's office before the technical bid opening. Only unconditional bank guarantees issued in the name of the Medical Superintendent, Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital, Sargodha, will be accepted. All prospective bidders must meet the knockdown criteria specified in the bidding document to be declared technically responsive.
Complete bidding documents are available for download from www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on e-PADS platform by 5 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidder representatives. Bidders seeking clarification should contact the procuring agency through e-PADS or in writing no later than seven days before the submission deadline. All PPRA guidelines and rules applicable to e-PADS will govern the procurement process.
