Description / Scope of Work
Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi invites walk-in registration of local purchase on day-to-day vendors (LPDD) for the supply of medicines, surgical items and disposables during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is issued under the direction of the Procurement Wing, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab, Lahore, vide reference SO(P-I)/H/LP Guidelines/2023 dated 9th January 2023. Registration is open to licensed pharmacies located within a maximum radius of 10 kilometers from the hospital premises in Rawalpindi. The walk-in interview will be held on 4th October 2026 at 11:00 AM in the conference room of the hospital.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid Drug Sale License Form-9 from the authorized drug licensing authority, possess an active National Income Tax number, and provide evidence of financial soundness including annual sales turnover, chartered accountant audit reports, tax returns and bank statements for the previous financial year. Vendors must submit an undertaking on stamp paper regarding agreement with all terms and conditions, commitment to active participation in daily bidding, and certification that they are not blacklisted by any department. An affidavit duly attested by Notary Public confirming non-involvement in spurious or sub-standard goods is mandatory. Interested bidders must deposit a non-refundable security fee of Rs 2,000 to the Account Office and a refundable performance guarantee of Rs 50,000 in the name of the Medical Superintendent.
Registration documents can be obtained from the Purchase Office until 3rd October 2024 during office hours or downloaded from the E-Pad portal at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ and www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. All duly attested documents must be submitted to the Purchase Office of Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi on or before 4th October 2026. Documents must include valid drug license, CNIC, tax number, financial records, undertakings, affidavits, proof of one year minimum experience, evidence of round-the-clock availability arrangements, storage condition verification, inventory management software details, qualified pharmacist credentials, and performance guarantee. Physical inspection of the pharmacy premises will be conducted by the hospital to verify submitted information and compliance with good storage practices.
