Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, 7th Buildings Division, Lahore, under the Communication and Works Department, Punjab Building Department (Central Zone), invites item-rate tenders for special repair works to Quarter No. FA-01 located in Wahdat Colony, Lahore. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1,000,000 with a contract duration of 15 days. This tender is issued through the Punjab e-Procurement System and is open to contractors and firms currently enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year in the relevant construction category.
Eligible bidders must submit earnest money equal to 5% of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 50,000, in the form of a CDR, bank draft, or cashier's cheque from any scheduled bank. The earnest money must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, 7th Buildings Division, Lahore, before the e-bid submission deadline. Conditional tenders and those lacking earnest money shall be rejected outright. Original bid security instruments must be physically submitted in an envelope clearly marked with the bidding document number and title prior to the electronic submission deadline.
Complete e-bids must be submitted online via the Punjab e-Procurement System website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. The e-bid submission deadline is 07.10.2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic opening scheduled for 07.10.2026 at 11:30 AM on the same platform. Bidding documents are available immediately upon publication. Bidders are strongly advised to upload their bids well before the deadline to avoid technical issues.
