Description / Scope of Work
The Principal Scientist, Soil Fertility Division at Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) in Faisalabad, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the procurement of one N-Distillation Unit, commonly known as Kjeldhal Apparatus, under the Fertilize Right Pakistan project. This is a national competitive bidding exercise conducted via single-stage two-envelope methodology. The estimated cost of the equipment is PKR 30,00,000 (thirty lakh), and the procurement falls under the institute's budgetary allocation for machinery and equipment acquisition.
Bidders must be firms, companies, or general order suppliers engaged in trading and registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax. A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost, equivalent to PKR 60,000, must accompany all bids in digital form through the Punjab e-Procurement system. The bid validity period is 120 days. All submissions must be made online through the Government-established e-Procurement portal; manual bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement system at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online on or before Wednesday, 7th October 2026 at 1030 hours, and will be opened the same day at 1100 hours in the presence of bidders' representatives at the AARI office.
