Description / Scope of Work
Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) invites electronic bids through EPADS v2.0 for the disposal of healthy power transformers on an as-is-where-is basis. The tender comprises two lots: Lot 01 consists of one 66-KV Redundant Line Essa Khel-Tajazai transformer with bid security of PKR 6,089,534, and Lot 02 comprises one 66-KV Redundant Line Tank-Tajazai transformer with bid security of PKR 6,569,559. Both assets are located in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The bid submission and opening are scheduled for 29 September 2026, with submission at 10:00 hours and opening at 10:30 hours on the EPADS platform.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for both income tax and sales tax purposes and must appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Bid security equal to the specified amounts must be uploaded electronically on EPADS v2.0 and submitted in original form as a Pay Order or Bank Draft in favour of PESCO Sale Proceeds Account at the office of Manager (Disposal), Room No. 306, PESCO Headquarters, Peshawar, before the closing deadline. Bids without valid bid security will be rejected as non-responsive. Eligible participants include individuals, sole proprietorships, partnership firms, private and public limited companies, state-owned enterprises, NGOs/NPOs, and IGOs.
Detailed bidding documents including all terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, and disposal procedures are available on EPADS v2.0 for registered bidders. All bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS within the stipulated date and time; manual or physical bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened electronically on EPADS at the specified date and time in the presence of attending bidders or their representatives. The highest evaluated responsive bid shall be accepted subject to approval by the competent authority as per PPRA Rules, 2004 (as amended) and the Disposal of Public Assets Regulations, 2024. PESCO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
