Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites sealed bids for two maintenance and repair works under the Single Stage–One Envelope bidding procedure. Work 1 involves repairing, maintaining and painting of bridges and structures on B.S. Link-I and II Canals at Dhulliana Section in Rajowal Sub Division, with an estimated cost of PKR 597,572 and earnest money of PKR 18,000. Work 2 comprises filling rain cuts and gharas in Adhen Section of Pattoki Sub Division, estimated at PKR 577,912 with earnest money of PKR 17,500. Both projects fall under the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate System (1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026) for Districts Okara and Kasur in Punjab province. These are maintenance contracts executed in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended) using the Punjab e-Procurement System.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in specialization categories CE-04(ii) and CE-04(vii), enlisted with the Irrigation Department, and registered with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Participants must provide valid PEC registration for 2026-27, government receipts for professional tax payment, CNIC, enlistment/renewal fees, and registration with Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for 2026-27. Bid security must be deposited digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System linked with BOP in favour of the Executive Engineer, B.S. Link Division, Lahore, by 08.10.2026 at 11:30 AM. No manual CDR or bank guarantee submissions will be accepted.
Bid documents are available free of cost on the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders must submit all bids through the e-procurement portal only; manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid opening occurs on 08.10.2026 at 12:00 PM at the Executive Engineer's office in Lahore, where successful bidders' rates will be announced. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Guarantee of 10% of the contract amount, execute an agreement within 15 days of acceptance, and mobilize to site within 7 days.
