Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Buildings Division No. 1, Bahawalpur invites sealed electronic bids for repair and maintenance of seven residential and official properties across Bahawalpur under e-Tendering notification SOH-I(C&W1-49/2023/3652 dated 26.05.2023. The tender encompasses special repair and maintenance of officers' residences, staff quarters, and courts complex facilities with a combined estimated cost ranging from Rs. 0.828 million to Rs. 6.942 million. Works include bathroom roof replacement, wall raising, wall paneling, false ceiling installation, tile work, sanitary fittings, and electrical work with a three-month completion timeline for each project. All works are located in Bahawalpur, Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026-27 in the relevant construction category and specification code. Contractors are required to deposit five percent bid security of the estimated cost electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk). Physical call deposit receipts are not accepted. Participants must hold current PEC licenses and must be registered on the newly introduced e-Procurement System to participate in the bidding process.
Bid documents are available on the e-Procurement System portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Contractors must submit item-rate quotations online before 11:00 AM on 10.10.2026. Bid opening will occur at 11:30 AM the same day at the Commissioner's Office, Bahawalpur Division, in the presence of participating firms and the Tender Opening Committee. Successful bidders must furnish a performance guarantee as per PPRA Rule 56. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance under PPRA Rule 35.
