Description / Scope of Work
The GE (Navy) Eastern Garrison in Karachi, Sindh invites applications for the pre-qualification of contractors and firms for an extensive range of over 260 repair, maintenance, and construction projects. The scope of work includes diverse tasks such as the repair of sewerage lines, camouflage painting at Sujawal Base, renovation of washrooms and lounges at Sir Creek Mess, and the provision of furniture for various administrative blocks and messes. Additionally, the works involve electrical fittings, roof treatments, road marking, and the construction of parking sheds across several locations including PNS Qasim, PNS Iqbal, and Nathiagali. To be eligible, firms must be on the approved list of MES contractors or provide proof of equivalent experience with other government departments. Requirements include a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration, NTN, and GST certificates. Contractors not currently on the MES approved list must submit a 2% earnest money deposit of the estimated cost. Applications for pre-qualification must reach the GE (Navy) Eastern Garrison office by 12:00 PM on 11 May 2026, with the subsequent issuance of tenders to qualified bidders scheduled for the same day.
