Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Buildings Department invites sealed tenders from Engineering Firms and Contractors for the Rehabilitation and Improvement of the old DHQ Hospital at Mianwali under the establishment of Maryam Nawaz Sharif Medical College and Teaching Hospital. This is a substantial provincial infrastructure project with an estimated cost of PKR 268.839 million and an earnest money requirement of PKR 13.442 million at five percent. The scope encompasses comprehensive rehabilitation and modernisation works to convert the existing DHQ facility into a medical college teaching hospital. The work is located in Mianwali, Punjab, and must be completed within the specified time limit extending to 30 December 2026.
Participants must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes. Contractors and firms are required to register on the Punjab E-Procurement System website and upload scanned copies of Call Deposit Receipts and Earnest Money documentation as per PPRA Rules. Any submission of false information or counterfeit Call Deposit Receipts will result in disqualification and ineligibility for future C&W Department tenders, with cases forwarded to the Pakistan Engineering Council for disciplinary action. Successful bidders must furnish a ten percent Performance Guarantee within fifteen days of contract award.
Bidders may obtain tender documents and information through the PPRA e-procurement portal at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. Tender opening will take place on 19 August 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Commissioner's office, Sargodha Division. All bidders must submit complete financial bids including detailed rate analyses, Design and Build items schedules, and all supporting documentation to be declared responsive and eligible for evaluation. Incomplete submissions will be rejected automatically.
