Description / Scope of Work
The Military Engineer Services office of the GE (Navy) Lahore in Punjab invites applications for the pre-qualification of contractors and firms for an extensive range of construction, repair, and maintenance projects. The diverse scope of work includes the installation of solar street lights and floodlights in Sialkot, improvement of swimming pool heating systems in Lahore, and significant furniture restoration across multiple naval facilities. Additional projects involve the renovation of hostels and residential quarters, construction of parking sheds, and external electrification services spanning Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and Sialkot. Eligible participants must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and appear on the FBR Active Taxpayer List for income and sales tax. Contractors already on the MES approved list 'E' or those with equivalent government experience are encouraged to apply. Firms not currently on the MES list must provide financial statements and deposit earnest money equivalent to five percent of the estimated costs. Completed applications and pre-qualification documents must be submitted by 11:30 AM on 10 May 2026, with the official opening of tenders scheduled for 12:00 PM on the same day.
