Description / Scope of Work
Pak Navy Dockyard, Karachi invites quotations from registered firms for the repair and refurbishment of four cylinder heads of the main engine of PNS QUWWAT, a Pakistan Navy vessel. The work scope includes complete restoration of the cylinder heads to operational standard, followed by comprehensive fitment checks and onboard trials to ensure performance compliance. This is a specialized naval engineering contract issued under Work Order No. 6826-2026-395-1 dated 18 September 2026, with tender reference ICE & CONT/L.C/IT/26-27/04.
Quotations are invited exclusively from firms registered with the Pakistan Navy. Interested bidders must be technically competent in heavy marine engine overhaul and capable of conducting precision work on naval propulsion systems. Detailed technical specifications and work requirements are available upon request from the Manager (ICE) department at the dockyard. Bidders are strongly encouraged to contact the Manager (ICE) office by telephone (021-48509423) to obtain complete work details and clarification before submitting their quotations.
The tender will be opened on 08 October 2026 at 10:00 hours in the office of Manager (ICE) at Pak Navy Dockyard, Karachi in the presence of representatives from bidding firms. All registered firms with Pakistan Navy are eligible to participate. Quotations must be submitted in accordance with PPRA guidelines through the designated procurement portal.
