Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Works & Civil Engineering (DW&CE) at DCI Islamabad invites pre-qualification and bidding applications from firms and contractors for miscellaneous works at DCI Islamabad. The procurement encompasses two main categories: (1) Construction, provision and installation of certain residential, non-residential, services and facilities at DCI Islamabad; and (2) Consultancy services including design and resident engineer supervision for certain works at DCI Islamabad. Tender reference number is 14/600/PPRA/E-6. Applications will be received from 25 September 2026 through 8 October 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad by 1230 hours on 9 October 2026, with opening scheduled for 1400 hours on the same date in the presence of authorized firm representatives.
Eligibility is restricted to firms and contractors enlisted with the Military Engineering Services (MES). Firms not enlisted with MES must attach 2 percent earnest money of the contract cost in the form of Call Deposit Receipts (CDR) or Defence Saving Certificates duly pledged in favour of DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad. Bidding documents will be issued to qualified contractors only. All bids received shall be opened and evaluated according to the manner prescribed in the bidding documents.
Bidders must submit detailed information regarding works executed during the last three years, including the executing agency or organization, contract amount, time allowed, actual completion time, percentage progress of works in hand, and department performance reports.
