Description / Scope of Work
The Highways Division Mirpur in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir invites electronic bids for the extensive construction, improvement, reconditioning, and black-topping of 30 kilometers of link roads across multiple constituencies. This major infrastructure initiative is divided into four primary lots covering constituencies LA-1 Dudyal, LA-2 Chakswari, LA-3 Mirpur City, and LA-4 Khari Sharif. The scope of work includes metalling and black-topping of various road segments ranging from 0.5 km to 4 km in length, with a total project completion period set for 730 days. Eligible firms must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council and have a valid endorsement from the Communication and Works Government of AJ and K for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, specifically under specialization codes CE-01 for roads and CE-02 for bridges. Interested contractors must participate through the Single Stage-Single Envelope E-Bidding system. The deadline for electronic bid submission is 11:30 AM on 11 May 2026, at which point the technical and financial proposals will be opened simultaneously. Bid security amounts vary by individual project lot as specified in the tender documentation.
