The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi is inviting quotations for the procurement of two submersible sewage motor pumps for delivery to the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The first item is a PEDROLLO or equivalent sewage submersible pump model MC 30/50 with 3 HP motor power, 1,100 L/min maximum discharge capacity, and 22 meters maximum head, featuring precision-cast stainless steel impeller and cast iron body with IPX8 protection rating and 10-meter power cable. The second item is a model MC 20/50 pump with 2 HP motor power, 900 L/min discharge capacity, and 16 meters maximum head, similarly specified with cast iron construction and full submersible capability. Both units operate at 380 V, three-phase, 50 Hz, with 2½ inch discharge ports and threaded delivery connections.
Bidders must submit quotations strictly in accordance with the detailed technical specifications and terms and conditions outlined in the request. Material will be subject to final inspection at the time of delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel orders if items do not conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed. Payment will be made through crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery of items. General Sales Tax applies to applicable items, and government taxes, levies and charges will be added as per applicable SRO rates. Liquidity damage at 2 percent per month on actual will be imposed for delayed delivery.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, by 30 September 2026 at 5:00 PM. IBA reserves discretionary rights to accept or reject any quotation, to change, alter or remove any item, to reduce or enhance quantities, and to award purchase orders to different lowest responsive bidders for individual items or to a single lowest responsive bidder for all items, without assignment of reasons.
