The Heavy Mechanical Complex in Taxila, Punjab invites sealed proposals from reputable solar power plant project developers for the installation of a grid-connected solar power plant on a Build Operate and Transfer basis. This sustainable energy project initially targets a capacity of 2 MWp with the potential for extension up to 3 MWp if required by the facility. Interested developers must provide two distinct agreement options covering periods of ten and fifteen years. Participation requires the purchase of official RFP documents from the Head of Supply Chain Management for a fee of 1,500 PKR. Bidders are also mandated to submit a bid security equal to two percent of the total bid value as an unconditional bank guarantee from a double-A rated financial institution. Technical teams are available for pre-bid site visits and discussions on any working day during standard business hours. Final completed bids must be submitted to the tender box in the Admin Block no later than 03:00 PM on May 18, 2026, with technical bid openings scheduled for 03:30 PM the same day.
