For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
KPT seeks repair and maintenance of driver accommodation facilities at West Wharf transport depot—a localized, asset-preservation scope rather than new construction.
Scale appears small to medium; funding is pre-allocated for FY2026-27, suggesting a budgeted project. LCBS selection means cost will dominate evaluation. No pre-bid meeting or site visit mentioned; bidders should clarify scope early via the contact email, as driver room condition and extent of repairs are not detailed. This is likely one-off maintenance tied to departmental budgets.
Who can bid: Bidders must register on ePADS v2.0 before submission. No explicit PEC category stated; typically, renovation/repair contracts require PEC registration (F-1 or equivalent) and valid NTN/SECP status. KPT may impose additional financial and technical qualification thresholds—check bid documents on ePADS for exact requirements. Foreign bidders eligibility not mentioned; typically restricted unless specified.
