For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

SSGC LPG is procuring specialized sandblasting, surface prep, painting and repair work on two spherical bulk LPG storage tanks at Port Qasim—a medium-scale, technically demanding industrial maintenance contract.

The 120-day bid validity and firm fixed-price requirement signal SSGC's preference for experienced contractors with accurate cost discipline; no escalation clause means bidders absorb material/labour inflation risk. This appears one-off maintenance rather than recurring work. The October 2026 closing date provides adequate lead time for site inspection and costing, but dual submission (electronic + physical) adds administrative burden.

Who can bid: Registration with relevant regulatory authorities is mandatory but not specified by name; typically Pakistani bidders require active NTN, SECP (if company), and relevant sectoral registration. No explicit PEC category stated; paint/industrial coating work typically requires PEC category F-2 or equivalent. Bidders must disclose conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality. Conditional bids are rejected.
