The Government of the Punjab, Transport and Masstransit Department, Lahore invites applications from eligible individuals, firms, and companies to participate in an open public auction for the operation of its canteen facility located at Transport House in Lahore. The canteen comprises a dining hall and kitchen with a total area of 31 feet by 12 feet and will be leased for a period of three financial years from 2026 to 2029, subject to annual performance evaluation and approval by the competent authority. The reserved price is set at Rs. 600,000 per annum with an annual increase of 10 percent in the contract amount. Applicants must be duly registered with government institutions as detailed in the lease documents.
Eligible applicants must be legally registered entities (sole proprietor, firm, or company) with valid CNIC, NTN, GST, Professional Tax Certificate, and PRA registration. Applicants must be active taxpayers with a valid Punjab Food Authority license and must submit proof of at least two years' experience in managing a cafeteria, food outlet, or restaurant in public or private sector organizations. Audited financial statements and bank statements for the last three financial years demonstrating minimum average annual turnover exceeding the reserve price are mandatory. Valid EOBI and PESSI registrations are required where applicable. The earnest money of Rs. 12,000 (2 percent of the reserved price) must be submitted as a CDR, demand draft, or bank guarantee. Joint ventures and consortiums are not permitted.
