Description / Scope of Work
The Military Engineer Services (MES) through the Garrison Engineer (Navy) Construction Islamabad invites applications for the pre-qualification of contractors and firms for multiple projects at the E-8 Sector in Islamabad. The scope of work includes two primary categories: miscellaneous major and abnormal repairs, consultancy services, and minor maintenance (TC/DC) works, as well as the provision of miscellaneous furniture items. Interested contractors enlisted with MES in categories A, B, C, D, and E, or those with equivalent experience from other government departments, must apply for pre-qualification by 07 May 2026. Applicants are required to provide detailed documentation, including records of work executed over the last two years, proof of registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), NTN certificates, and GST registration. Additionally, firms must furnish lists of assets, personnel, and machinery. Sealed tenders from pre-qualified firms must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 21 May 2026, with the bid opening scheduled for the same time. The department reserves the right to reject any applications in accordance with PPRA Rule 33.
